• If there is a large amount of air in the suction line – it may happen that the pump switcher again dis-
plays this fault message – fill the pump housing again over the filling nozzle and repeat the procedure
described above;
- Depending on the system configuration, it takes a long time for the air to be completely pumped
out of the suction line and the Conel Flow Rain-Champion to operate in normal operating mode.
• Allow possible air inclusions to escape from the suction line until a continuous jet of water flows out
of the sampling point (may take a few minutes);
• Close the picking point again;
• The pump continues to run until the pump switching machine finally shuts down the pump with an
integrated follow-up time.
• To vent the entire piping system, slowly open each extraction point in the system and allow the air
pockets to escape until a continuous jet of water flows out of the sampling point;
• Now the Conel Flow Rain-Champion is in automatic operation and automatically controls the supply,
with rain/needs-oriented with drinking water, the collection points.
• At each water collection point involved, add the „No drinking water"

If you notice malfunctions, disconnect the Conel Flow Rain-Champion from the electrical power supply
and secure it again against unauthorized and unintentional ones and observe the notes in the trouble-
shooting chapter (see chapter 10 Troubleshooting for details).

lights up.
Note:
• The operation of the pump with leaks in the suction line or its piping can cause
damage to the pump;
• Avoid dry running of the pump - can cause damage to the pump;
• To ensure that the water column in the suction line does not tear off, we
recommend the use of a return preventer;
• The pump independently sucks the air out of the suction tube – after that the
liquid is conveyed;
Remedy
¾ Check the suction line for contamination
- clean and rinse if necessary. Remove the
pump, remove the blocker ground, clean it.
¾ Remove and clean the pump switcher.
¾ Drain the contaminated water completely and
rinse with clean water until any residues are
removed.
¾ Contact the manufacturer (see Chapter 1.4
Service Address for details)
¾ Eliminate leaks.
