9. Commissioning

The automatic level control of the FLOWTP30 pump switches on when the set cut-in
level has been reached and switches off at the set cut-out level. When the float switch
is locked (control panel "Always-on"), the pump switches on as soon as the electrical
supply has been connected.
FLOWTP30 OS switches on automatically as the electrical supply is connected.
If an airlock occurs in the pump it can be vented by drilling a Ø 3 mm hole in the
pressure pipe before the non return valve where indicated in figure 1.
Note:
This is necessary in installations such as drainage wells where the minimum required
continuous immersion of the pump in the medium can not be constantly guaranteed
i.e. the level of the medium may fall naturally below the top of the volute (a).
