Commissioning

The automatic level control of the FLOWTP30 pump switches on when the set cut-in level has been
reached and switches off at the set cut-out level. When the float switch is locked (control panel
"Always-on"), the pump switches on as soon as the electrical supply has been connected.
FLOWTP30 OS switches on automatically as the electrical supply is connected.
Venting:
Under certain conditions an on-site vent hole is required, which means anywhere where the pump
housing (a) cannot be permanently submerged in the fluid, such as in a drainage shaft with an open
shaft bottom.
ATTENTION!
The max. 3 mm diameter vent hole may only be drilled at the marked position (b) as shown in figure 1.
Details of position (b) at the discharge nozzle:
Dimension from the upper edge of the discharge to position (b) = 70 mm, drilling depth max. 10 mm.
Violations can permanently damage the pump and put it out of operation.
