Ball valve type 342
Control functions
The following control functions are available:
- Control function 1: normally closed (NC)
Idle state of the ball valve: closed by spring force. Controlling the actuator (connection 2) opens the ball
valve. Venting the actuator causes the ball valve to close by spring force.
- Control function 2: normally open (NO)
Idle state of the ball valve: opened by spring force. Controlling the actuator (connection 4) closes the ball
valve. Venting the actuator causes the ball valve to open by spring force.
- Control function 3: double acting (DA)
Idle state of the ball valve: no defined initial position. Opening and closing of the ball valve by controlling
the corresponding control medium connections (connection 2: opening / connection 4: closing).
