Ball valve type 342
Assembly for butt weld ends:
Comply with welding standards!
Different versions! Depending on the version, a screw is guided through a lug (arrow) on the
housing. In this version, open the respective screw only slightly, open the other screws completely
and swivel the middle part away instead of taking it out.
1. Center and tack butt weld ends S on the right and left of piping R, see Figure 6.
2. Unscrew nuts 19 completely, see Figure 7.
3. Pull screws 20 out of connecting plate.
4. Remove center part KM.
5. Weld the butt weld ends S on the right and left of the pipes R.
6. Allow butt weld ends to cool down.
7. Reassemble ball valve.
8. Tighten nuts 19a - 19d crosswise and counter with wrench, see Figure 8.
