OCEANLINK DISPLAY
Problem
The values
displayed are not
as expected.
"---" is displayed
for a certain data
or the pointer
blinks in the
NavDash layout.
The same data is
displayed with two
different alternating
values.
"No MediaBox
connected"
"MediaBox not
powered"
Root cause
Incorrect sensor
configuration.
Sensor connected incorrectly.
The NMEA 2000 network
backbone has not been
created correctly.
The data is not available on
the network.
Sensor not connected.
The NMEA 2000 network
backbone has not been
created correctly.
Incorrect sensor
configuration.
Two different sources are
sending the same data on
NMEA 2000.
MediaBox is not connected
to the NMEA 2000 network
or to the power supply.
MediaBox is connected but
off.
Solution
Check the configuration in the Sensors menu.
Check the connection, refer to the Installation
Instructions.
Check the connections and that there is a
termination at both the beginning and end of the
backbone.
Check that the sensor is functioning correctly.
Connect the sensor, refer to the Installation
Instructions.
Check the connections and that there is a
termination at both the beginning and end of the
backbone.
Check the engine/tank IDs (Show value as) in the
sensor configuration.
Check the connection of the MediaBox unit.
Turn on the MediaBox, see "MediaBox use".
