Setting the wind sensitivity

6.1.2. Changing the wind sensitivity

Perform the sequence with the DOWN button as described in 6.1.1. The drive confirms the
setup mode with a brief up and down movement and then remains in this setup mode for
about 5 seconds. Now press the DOWN button several times (<1 second). The number of con-
secutive presses of the button results in the wind sensitivity level. Each brief press of the
DOWN button is signalled by a twitching of the motor (in the UP direction).
Example: If the DOWN button is pressed 1x within the prescribed setting time, level 1 is set. If
the DOWN button is pressed 3x, level 3 is set. If the DOWN button is pressed 5x or more
often, level 5 (the highest level) is set.5 seconds after the last pressing of the DOWN button,
the newly set wind sensitivity is stored in the drive and the drive moves upwards once or sev-
eral times for a brief moment (see 6.1.1.). The number of brief upward movements results in
the set wind sensitivity. The value for the wind sensitivity can be set to between 1 and 5.

6.1.3. Permanent deactivation of the wind sensitivity

Set the drive to setup mode as described in 6.1.1. After setup mode is confirmed with a brief
up and down movement, immediately press the DOWN button for 5 seconds and then
release it. The drive then moves upwards for about 3 seconds. The wind sensitivity is now
deactivated.
Note: With this setting, the awning is no longer protected against wind!
Note: The wind sensitivity is reactivated when a wind sensitivity of between level 1 to 5 is set
as described in 6.1.2.
