General product maintenance
Do a check of the brush strip.
Make sure that the power cord and extension cable are
in good condition and not damaged.
Do a check of the RCD.
Do a check of the shock absorber plate of the grinding
disc.
Clean the product with a moist cloth.
Do a complete servicing and cleaning of the product.
To do maintenance on the remote
control
WARNING:
from the remote control manufacturer
for all safety, servicing and maintenance
information.
• Do these procedures daily:
a) Do a visual inspection of the rubber seals around
the controls.
b) Examine the switches and controls for damages.
c) Do a visual inspection of the remote control for
cracks and other damages.
d) Do a visual inspection of the remote control
harness.
e) Make sure that the battery lock operates
correctly.
f) Make sure that the manual stop button is easy to
move and not damaged.
g) Make sure that the LED indicators quickly flash 1
time when the remote control is set to ON.
h) Tilt the remote control 90 degrees to do a check
of the tilt function.
i) Remove dust from the remote control with air.
• Do these procedures weekly:
a) Clean the battery terminals and the terminals in
the battery compartment and the battery charger.
Use a soft and dry cloth.
b) Clean the control panel of the remote control and
make sure that you can clearly read the print.
• If there are any damages or the remote control does
not operate correctly, speak to an approved service
agent.
• Let an approved service agent do a yearly servicing
of the remote control.

To clean the product

• Always clean all the equipment after use. Use a
vacuum cleaner.

• Do not use a high-pressure washer to clean the
product.
• Keep the air openings clean and clear to make
sure that the product always has sufficiently cool
temperature.
• After wet grinding, clean the brush strip with water.
Make sure that the remaining mixture of dust and
water is fully removed.

1. Adjust the handlebar to vertical position. Refer to

2. For BMG 780 RC, move the weights to a rearward
