Logging in and logging out

In its delivery state, the device supports the option
of logging in as a standard user with the user
name admin and a blank password for convenient
initial configuration. However, this can only be
done once in the delivery state, as this function is
intended to enable the configuration of an
individual administrator access.
For security reasons, only one user can be logged
in with the configuration access at the same time.
Several PCs can access the IO-Link master with
read access at the same time (without login).
However, parallel accesses can result in response
delays.
To make configuration settings on the IO-Link master via
the web interface, you must first log in with the eXpert or
adMin role. Logging in with the uSer role activates
further dialogs in view-only mode. The user icon indicates
the current status at all times.
