Connection
RETURN TO MAIN sockets (43)
The EFFECTS RETURN TO MAIN RCA sockets are mainly used as input for a modified effect signal. Connect
the output of the effect unit here.
MIC connection (7)
You can connect your microphone to this input. The connections are suitable for dynamic microphones or con-
denser microphones with their own power supply. The microphone input is equipped with a special socket. You
can connect a 6.3 mm jack plug (unsymmetrical) or an XLR plug (symmetrical).
These inputs are not suitable for line-level audio devices or record players.
USB connection (50) CH1
You can connect the USB interface of your computer to this input. Your computer can be used as a playback device
as well.
The interface does not support storage media such as harddisks or memory sticks that are not
equipped with a playback function (player).
b) Connecting the outputs
MASTER OUT connection (44)
Connect this output to a free Cinch-input of your amplifier.
Connection MASTER OUT (52
Connect a free XLR-input of your amplifier to this output.
BOOTH OUT connection (45)
You can connect an additional amplifier to this output to be used in an adjoining room or to provide the signal for
monitor loudspeakers.
TAPE sockets (46)
If you wish to record the output signal of the mixer with a recording device, connect the recording input of the device
to these sockets on the mixer.
EFFECTS SEND FROM PFL sockets (42)
The CUE Signal is present in these sockets. The signal can be fed to an external effect unit. Connect the input of
the effect unit here.
PHONES connection (15)
Connect headphones with a 6.3 mm jack plug to this output.
c) Record player ground connection
If your record player has its own ground line (usually a thin, black cable with clamp-type socket), connect it to ground
screw GND (40). This helps prevent hum trouble.
