Operating time limit
For safety reasons, each cooking zone is pro-
vided with an operating time limit. If the heat
setting is not changed for a prolonged peri-
od of time, the cooking zone is automatically
switched off and the residual heat indicator
"H" is activated.
The maximum operating time is set in accord-
ance with the most recently selected heat set-
ting.

Using the timer function/
cooking time limit
You can use the timer function as a timer or
use it to set an automatic shut-off time for one
or more cooking zones.
The maximum timer setting is 99 min-
utes.
A red dot will light up continuously on the
heat setting display for the selected cooking
zone to indicate that the timer for this cook-
ing zone is active.
Use as a timer
1. Ensure that the appliance is switched on.
2. Touch the timer sensor (11) to set the tim-
