Remove the mains plug before car-
rying out any adjustments.

Adjusting the rip fence

1. Loosen the star grip nut (27) and set the
desired inclination.
The inclination can be found on the
scale (26) on the strut.
2. Fix your setting by tightening the star
grip nut (27).
Adjusting the planer
blade cover
For wide, fl at workpieces (Fig. 
1. Loosen the star grip screw (28) and the
butterfl y screw (12).
2. Lift the planer blade cover (25) and
slide the workpiece to be machined un-
der the planer blade cover (25).
3. The planer blade cover (25) must lay
fl at on the workpiece to be machined.
Retighten the star grip screw (28) and
the butterfl y screw (12).
For thin workpieces (Fig. 
1. Loosen the star grip screw (2) and push
the planer blade cover (25) as far to the
side as the workpiece is wide.
2. Fix the star grip screw (2) and thus the
position of the planer blade cover.

Setting the cutting depth

Turn the adjusting screw (5) to the right or
left to set the desired chip depth. The set
chip depth can be found on the scale (6).

When thicknessing, the chip removal is
adjusted via the crank handle (3).

piece to be machined.

2. Using the crank handle (3), set the
desired height (�� current height minus
max. 2 mm). The set height can be

3. Place the workpiece on the planing table
(23) and push the workpiece towards the
cutting roll using the push stick (18).
4. If the desired height has not yet been
reached, readjust the workpiece height
(max. 2 mm) and repeat the process un-
til you have reached the desired height.

Always replace the blades in pairs. Do not
attempt to sharpen the blades!

Always change the planer blades
