4.4 Combination of SafeLift and SafeSense

Since the motor slot is used by SafeSense , SafeLift is attached to the top frame using mount-

ing plates.
First, position the bed at a comfortable working height and pull the power plug.
Attach the mounting plate to the box as shown in the illustration. The retaining strap must
point upwards to the control panel. Position the box between the seat section and the cross
member of the backrest on the upper frame (left or right).
Screw the box to the upper frame using the second mounting plate as shown in the illustration.
Lay the cable under the seat section towards the motor and fix it with cable ties. Then plug into
the slot of the handset in the SafeSense box. Connect the handset to the SafeLift box and

thread the cable into the cleat on the box.
Then reconnect the mains plug to the mains socket. If no transmitter has been programmed,
the LED on the box lights up in red.
