4. Setting up

4.1 Delivery

SafeLift is usually delivered in individual components and installed on site by qualified spe-
cialists.
•Please check whether all components have been delivered by consulting the delivery papers.
•Write down potential defects or damage on the delivery note.
• Inform your service partner immediately about potential transport damage or defects. The
address and phone number are noted on the last page of this manual.
4.2 Installing the system on a nursing home bed equipped with a
"Quadromat 7" motor
Position the bed at a comfortable working height and pull the power plug.
Remove the handset from the middle socket and plug in the SafeLift box. Place the remaining
SafeLift cable as a loop around the two protruding motor housings.
Attach the mounting plate to the SafeLift Box as
shown in the illustration and screw it tight (the two
individual retaining straps and the control panel of
the box point upwards).
Remove the cover of the motor connections with a
screwdriver.
Clip the SafeLift Box into the holder on the motor. The
control panel must face up. The box will sit securely
once it has audibly slotted into place.
