For your personal safety:
Wear suitable work clothes
such as boots with non-slip
soles, sturdy long trousers,
gloves and goggles. Hearing
protection must be used in
case the device is used over
prolonged periods of time.
Do not wear long flowing
clothing or jewellery, as this
may be caught by moving
parts. Do not use this tool
while walking barefooted or
while wearing open sandals.
a) Always switch off the de-
vice first and remove the
rechargeable battery
- if you leave the tool unsuper-
vised
- before removing jams
- before control- maintenance-
or cleaning tasks
- if you have come into contact
with a foreign object
- whenever the machine starts
to vibrate uncontrollably
How to avoid accidents and
injuries.
b) In the case of an accident
or malfunction during
operation, the device must
be switched off immedia-
tely. Injuries must be pro-
perly treated or medical
assistance sought. Read the
„Trouble shooting" section to
correct any malfunctions or con-
tact our Service Centre.
c) Operation of the machine
in bad weather is to be
avoided, especially if the-
re is a risk of lightning.
There is a risk of personal injury
from an electric shock.
d) Avoid an abnormal work
posture.
e) Always maintain your
balance to ensure secure
footing on slopes.
f) Walk, do not run, when
operating the device.
g) Do not touch any of the
dangerous moving parts
until the safety key has
been removed and the
moving parts have come
to a complete standstill.
h) Never operate the device
with defective protection
equipment or faulty pro-
tection covers or without
any protection equipment.

RUCTIONS
a) Only switch on the tool
when hands, feet and all
other body parts are at
a secure distance to the
tool. Risk of injury from cuts.
b) Take care that you do not
injure your hands and feet
with the cutting elements.
c) Remove the power supply
unit before working with
the equipment. Do not use
extension cables. The po-
wer supply unit is to be
used only in enclosed spa-
ces. Water entry increases the
risk of electric shock.
