Following functions are available: ON / OFF event, control input, impulse counter,
operational time and event + operation time.
Active input releases the selected function. The digital inputs are high active, this means

+12...+30 VDC.
See "Connections/terminal layout".
Identifier
Measurement point name or description of the function of this input. 10 character.
Additional information to the digital channel (e.g. respective measurement point number,
tag identification system in power stations etc.). 13 characters.
Hints: Can only be set up if "With additional channel info" is selected up in "Basic settings
Additional information
- Channel identifier".
If required the additional info can be listed on screen together with the channel identifier in
normal operation (select the display mode using the
"Can only be used as a control input" : When active releases the allocated control function
in the unit.
"Starts plot" : Plot/storage are only operational so long as the control input is active.
Hint: The actual measured values continue to be displayed. Alarm set points are no
longer monitored.
"Setting up block" : Setting up of the unit using the push buttons is possible when the input
is active.
"Time synchronisation" : A control impulse from an external contactor (e.g. mater clock)
synchronises the internal clock of the unit: If this is between 0 and 29 seconds the
seconds are reset to 00 without an increase in minutes. If the clock seconds are between
30 and 59 seconds then they are reset to 00 and the minutes are increased by 1 minute.

The analysis of this measurement point into min, max and average values does not occur
in defined time cycles. Here the signals are alaysed as long as the control input is active.

Once the input is no longer active the result of the analysis becomes availabe (see

"analysis" in normal operation). Is useful for example in batch operations - the min, max
and average values are available at the end of the batch.

Event text L - H
Description of condition change from Low (-3...+5 V) to High (+12...+30 V).
Event text H - L
Description of condition change from High (+12...+30 V) to Low (-3...+5 V).
"Display+acknowledge": Message must be acknowledged ("OK") by operating a push
button. This message consists of date, time and channel identifier with alarm set point

value (alternatively the event text L-H/H-L has a text set up).
"Only record": Events are recorded and placed in the event list.
Copies all settings of the actual channel to the selected channel. Saves time, when similar
inputs are connected.
Copy settings
Hint: The measurement point identifier is also copied to the target channel. The last
characters are however substituted by the channel number (e.g. "02", "03", ...).

"Text selection (BCD)" (presettable only on
digital input 1):
Using the digital inputs 1 to 4 (BCD coding)
a text from a preset text list (see 4.3.4) can
be selected and stored in the event list of
the device.
In order for the text to be stored a
respective Bit (see table) must be
connected within a second and must
remain connected for at least one second.
In order for a further text to be selected all
digital inputs must be deactivated for at
