The following set-up addresses can be used:
f = (g(y1)*a)?(y2*b)+c:
Calculation of two channels
Formula
f = g(y1...y2)*b+c:
Calculates average or sum of two or more channels. Mathematics channels are handled in
the same way as "real" analogue inputs (alarm set points etc).
f = (g(y1)*a)?(y2*b)+c:
"Not used": switches function 'g' off.
Function 'g'
Attention: lg, ln, sqrt are only valid for positive numbers.
f = g(y1...y2)*b+c:
"Sum" and "Average" from channels 'y1' to 'y2'
Signal 'y1', that is to be combined with another.
Signal 'y1'
Note: Other Maths channels can be used in the calculation, condition is that the Maths
channel number is smaller than the Maths channel being calculated.
Factor 'a', that signal 'y1' is to be multiplied.
Factor 'a'
Factory setting: 1
Mathematic operator combining channels. In order to switch off the 2nd part of the formula
Math operator '?'
(y2*b), select "not used".
Signal 'y2'
Second signal, 'y2', that is to be combined with the first 'y1'.
Factor 'b', Factor with which signal 'y2' or function g(y1...y2) is to be multiplied.
Factor 'b'
Factory setting: 1
Constant 'c' is added to the result of the combination of signals 'y1' and 'y2'.
Constant 'c'
Factory setting: 0.
Input in the (technical or physical) units of the Maths channels.
Note: The maximum resolution (range end - start) of the channels is 64000. The end
of the measuring range is automatically set-up dependent on the measuring range
start.
• Setting up only required if the digital inputs are to be used.
4. Setting up unit - SET UP
