8.3 Replacing the Power Cable
Chain

Switch off the power supply!
The permanent magnet field of
the Linear Module LKL is invisible. It
can abruptly attract objects made of
iron.
F When installing the equipment,
always use non-magnetic tools, e.g.
made from stainless steel.
Removing the power cable chain
• Undo the cable ties.
• Remove the screws (1) from the
connecting link (2) on the frame (3).
• Keep the screws (1) and the wide
washers (4)!
• Press the connecting link (2) inwards
and pull the chain (5) away from the
connecting link (2).
• Remove the connecting link and dis-
card it in the recycling collection bin.
• Move the power cable chain to a point
where the guard flaps can be opened.
• Open all the guard flaps (6).
• Lever open the connecting link (7) on
the carriage (8) and pull away the
chain (5).
• Unscrew the connecting link (7) and
discard it in the recycling collection bin.
• Remove the power cable chain and
discard it in the recycling collection bin.
Store the cables carefully, taking
care not to twist them!

Couper l'alimentation électrique!
Le champ magnétique permanent
du module linéaire LKL est invisible et
attire les objets en fer de manière
brutale.
F Lors du montage, utiliser des outils
non magnétiques, par exemple en acier
inoxydable.
Démontage du guide porte-câbles
• Déconnecter les câbles.
• Desserrer les vis (1) sur la pièce de
raccordement (2) du corps principal (3).
• Conserver les vis (1) et les rondelles
d'épaisseur larges (4).
• Appuyer sur la pièce de raccordement
(2) et retirer le guide porte-câbles (5)
de la pièce de raccordement (2).
• Retirer la pièce de raccordement (2) et
la recycler.
• Faire bouger le guide porte-câbles à un
point où il est possible de l'ouvrir.
• Ouvrir toutes les protections (6).
• Evaser la pièce de raccordement (7) du
guide porte-câbles sur le plateau (8) et
retirer le guide (5).
• Dévisser la pièce de raccordement (7),
la retirer et la recycler.
• Retirer le guide porte-câbles et le
recycler.
Stocker les câbles à l'abri, ne pas
les vriller!

Osservare le avvertenze per la

Staccare la corrente!
Il campo magnetico permanente
del Linearmodulo LKL non si vede e attira
all'improvviso oggetti in ferro.
F Per il montaggio utilizzare attrezzi
non magnetici, ad esempio in acciaio inox.
Smontare la catena porta cavi
• Togliere i legacci ai cavi.
• Svitare le viti (1) dell'attacco terminale
fisso (2) vincolato al profilato di
base (3).
• Conservare le viti (1) e le rondelle
larghe (4)!
• Comprimere le alette dell'attacco ter-
minale (2) e liberare la catena (5) da
detto attacco terminale (2).
• Conservare l'attacco terminale fisso
per un successivo uso.
• Porre la catena porta cavi in un posto
dove si possano agevolmente sganciare
i coperchietti.
• Sganciare tutti i coperchietti (6).
• Sganciare la catena (5) premendo da
ambo i lati l'attacco terminale mobile
(7) della catena porta cavi, vincolato
alla tavola (8).
• Svitare l'attacco terminale mobile (7)
e tenerlo a disposizione.
• Tenere a disposizione la catena
portacavi per un successivo uso.
Deporre i cavi in luogo sicuro
badando a non torcerli!
