GRILLING YOUR FOOD

WARNING
do not remove any parts of the appliance. Only touch the appliance at the operating
elements. If required, use oven gloves. Keep the appliance under supervision, while
it is in use and may be hot.
IMPORTANT - When using only one grilling plate, the other one may get warm
too. During operation, do not place any foreign objects on the grilling plates (e.g.
grilling utensils).
1. For preheating, select the desired temperature by turning the allocated control
dial clockwise to the appropriate setting (1-6; see: 'Properties of Your New
Table-Top Grill / Automatic Temperature Control'). The heating indicator illumi-
nates red during heating. You may use only one grilling plates or both grilling
plates, if required, even with different temperature settings.
2. Wait until the heating indicator gets blue, indicating that the set temperature is
reached. Thereafter, place your food onto the preheated grilling plate.
NOTE
During cooking, the appliance controls the temperature of the grilling plates auto-
matically with the colour of the heating indicator alternating repeatedly (red and
blue).
3. You may change the temperature setting any time you like via turning the alloca-
ted control dial of the grilling plate. The colour of the heating indicator changes,
when the new temperature is reached (see: 'Properties of Your New » Design
Table Grill Plancha & BBQ « / Automatic Temperature Control').
4. For turning, checking, and removing your food, use grilling utensils made of
wood or heat-resistant plastic. You can add further pieces of food, whenever
you like.
IMPORTANT - Avoid unplugging the appliance, while it is in operation. Switch
off completely, before pulling the power plug out of the power outlet. Otherwise,
the connectors of the power plug and power outlet may get damaged due to vol-
tage tension.
5. After cooking your food, immediately switch off the appliance. For this, first turn
both control dials counter-clockwise to "0". Then, at the rear of the appliance,
switch the power switch to the "O" position (the heating indicators get dark).
Unplug the appliance and take any leftovers from the grilling plates.
