Additional functions

You can select additional functions to improve
the washing results.
Depending on the cycle, you can select sev-
eral functions.
1. Select the desired cycle (see "Starting the
cycle" on page EN-19).
2. Press the "Functions" button (18) until the
signal for the desired function flashes.
3. Press the "Selection" button (19) to con-
firm the function.
The signal will light up permanently.
Speed wash
"Speed wash" is recommended for lightly
soiled laundry. The appliance will wash the
laundry in a very short time.
Anti-crease
"Anti-crease" protects the laundry from creas-
ing. After the cycle ends, the drum continues
to move.
Extra-rinse
"Extra-rinse" is recommended for sensitive
skin. The appliance will wash with more water
and includes an additional rinse cycle.
Extra-wash
"Extra-wash" is recommended for tough or
dried-on stains. The appliance will wash for
longer and more intensively to improve the
wash result.
Soaking
For particularly heavily soiled laundry, you
can soak the laundry. As soon as the highest
water level has been reached, the drum will
not move for 20 minutes and the laundry will
be soaked.
Additional functions
Pre-wash
"Pre-wash" is recommended for heavily
soiled laundry.
If you select a cycle with pre-wash, fill deter-
gent compartment I with ¼ of the detergent
and fill detergent compartment II with ¾ of
the detergent.
Customised settings
Your appliance's cycle selection also includes
a "Custom" cycle. The ECO 40–60 cycle is
configured as standard here. But you can
also store a custom cycle that you have ad-
justed and would like to use frequently.
Saving custom cycle
1. Select the right cycle and make all de-
sired changes (e.g. temperature, spin
speed, pre-wash, etc.). Do not start the
cycle yet.
2. Press and hold the "Dryness level" but-
ton (17) for approx. three seconds to save
the cycle with all changes made. The sig- y
nal will appear to indicate that it has
been saved. The custom cycle also re-
mains saved after the appliance has been
switched off.
3. To change the customised settings, re-
peat steps 1 and 2.
Starting custom cycle
• You can select the custom cycle ("Cus-
tom") using the cycle selector (1) and start
as normal.
