Safety

Intended use

The appliance is designed for washing, rins-
ing, spinning and drying laundry in normal
household quantities.
It was designed exclusively for use in private
households and is not designed for commer-
cial use or multiple use (e.g. use by several
parties in a block of flats).
The appliance is intended only for use:
– with a water pressure of between 0.05 MPa
and 1.0 MPa (0.5 bar to 10.0 bar)
– with up to 8 kg of dry textiles (max. quanti-
ty) in the wash cycle
– with up to 6 kg of laundry (max. quantity) in
the drying cycle only
– at an ideal ambient temperature of +15 °C
to +25 °C for optimal operation.
The appliance is not suitable for use as a
built-in appliance.
The appliance is non-stackable.
Persons who are unable to operate the appli-
ance safely due to their physical, sensory or
mental abilities or lack of knowledge must be
supervised during use.
Do not make any technical changes to the
appliance.
Use the appliance only as described in this
user manual. Any other use is deemed im-
proper and may result in damage to property
or even personal injury. The manufacturer
accepts no liability for damage caused by im-
proper use.

The following symbols can be found in this
user manual.
WARNING!
This symbol indicates a hazard with a medi-
um level of risk which, if not avoided, could
result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION!
This symbol indicates a hazard with a low lev-
el of risk which, if not avoided, could result in
minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE
This symbol warns against possible damage
to property.
This symbol refers to useful additional
information.

that of third parties. Please also ob-
serve the warning notices in the indi-
vidual chapters on commissioning, care
and maintenance, etc.

Touching live parts may result in severe
injury or death.
■ Only use the appliance indoors.
■ Never use the appliance in a damp or
wet environment.
■ Do not operate or continue to oper-
ate the appliance if it
– shows visible signs of damage, e.g.
the power cord is defective.
