Push the transport lock (2) to the left and
disable.

Move the hammer drilling slide switch (1) to
the Drilling ( ) position ( ) (see Chapter "4.6
Switching hammer drilling on and off" on
page 37).
Switch on dust extraction with continuous
operation.

Use the centring pin (11) to mark the drilling
centre and spot drill carefully. The socket outlet
drill bit (12) must not dip into the material by
more than max. 5 mm to 10 mm.
Remove the machine from the drilling surface.

Push the transport lock (2) to the right and
enable.

Remove the centring pin (11).

Depending on the material to be drilled,
if applicable, place the hammer drilling slide
switch (1) in the hammer drilling position ( )
(see Chapter "4.6 Switching hammer drilling on
and off" on page 37).
Place the machine in the correct position on the
drilling surface.

Push the transport lock (2) to the left and
disable.
Continue drilling carefully until the required
drilled depth is reached.
Remove the machine from the drilling surface.

Push the transport lock (2) to the right to
enable it.

Ending the drilling process

Through-hole
NOTE
If the drill core is stuck in the socket outlet drill bit,
use a piece of soft wood or plastic to release the
drill core from the socket outlet drill bit.

Use a piece of soft wood or plastic to remove
the drill core from the socket outlet drill bit (12).
Blind hole
NOTE
The socket outlet drill bit can be irreparably
damaged by jamming in the core drill hole.
Never use the socket outlet drill bit to break out the
drill core!

If the drill core is still stuck in the drill hole
after the socket outlet drill bit (12) has been
removed, it can be broken out using a suitable
tool (e.g. chisel).

Cleaning

CAUTION
Risk of injury due to rotating insert tools.

Activate the transport lock (2).

Remove the battery pack (2) before

carrying out any work on the power tool (see
Chapter "5.1 Inserting and removing the battery
pack into/from the machine" on page 38).
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to hot or sharp-edged socket
outlet drill bits.
Î Wear safety gloves.
The machine must be cleaned after each drilling
work session.
Clean the machine carefully and blow out with
compressed air.
Lightly grease the thread of the socket outlet
drill bit.
NOTE
Ensure handles are dry and free from grease.
