Machine characteristics

The compact 18 V cordless dry diamond drill with
soft impact feature has been designed specially for
drilling socket outlets.
The machine has specially developed electronics.
It monitors the speed and switches the machine off
automatically in the event of sudden rotation of the
power tool about the drill axis, e.g. due to catching
or jamming of the insert tool.
The motor is protected from overheating by a
thermal overload protection device. A warning
signal (bleep) sounds if the overload protection is
activated.
The machine is also equipped with a selectable
soft impact mechanism. It protects the diamond
segments of the socket outlet drill bits, allows faster
working and carries the drill dust away from the
diamond segments. This in turn achieves a longer
tool life for the socket outlet drill bits.

Intended use

The ABDB 82 machine, together with drill bits for
socket outlets, is intended to be used to drill holes
(cores) for socket outlets in mineral materials such
as calcium silicate, bricks, Poroton, plaster and
exposed aggregate concrete.
Never work without extraction.
Observe the relevant regulations in your
country for the materials to be machined and
extraction.
Do not drill in the following materials: Wood, metal,
reinforced concrete and glass, etc.
The user is solely liable for damage caused by
non-intended use.
