Defrost mode

WARNING
Health hazard!
The defrost water can contain harm-
ful bacteria, especially with meat and
poultry.
Only use microwave mode to defrost

meat, poultry and fish.
Avoid any physical contact.

Pour defrost water away. Do not use
■
it for any other purpose.
Thoroughly clean the crockery you
■
have used.
One defrost programme by time and three
defrost programmes by weight are available.
Defrost programme by time
Defrosting merely circulates unheated air
within the cooking compartment. This accel-
erates the defrosting process. No heat is ap-
plied during defrosting.

1. Tap the sensor (13) to exit other func-
tions.
2. To select the defrost mode by time, tap
the sensor (8) until the display shows

Modes/standard functions
3. To change the cooking time, tap the
sensor (5) and use the +/– sensors or
the slider (7).
4. Continue as described in 'Starting, in-
terrupting, continuing and ending' on
page EN-18.
In order to make more room in the
cooking compartment, you can remove
the baking tray guides and defrost the
frozen food container directly on the bottom
of the oven (see page EN-31).
