Cooking compartment light

Use the oven light solely as the cooking com-
partment light; it is not suitable for lighting a
room.
The cooking compartment light is switched on
for all types of heating except for the pyrolysis
function and ECO mode.
The cooking compartment light switches on
automatically when the built-in oven is in ope-
ration.
To switch on the cooking compartment light
(e.g. for cleaning):
• Select the light symbol
on switch (21).
• Press the button
(16).
• To switch off the cooking compartment
light, press the button

Energy-saving mode

If the energy-saving mode is activated, the
built-in oven switches to standby after approx.
10 minutes of inactivity.
The display disappears, but the time setting
remains.
Activating energy-saving mode
• Hold the button
(16) until you hear a
beep and the display goes out.
The built-in oven is now in standby mode
and uses less energy.
Switching to normal mode from standby
mode
• Briefly tap the button
A beep sounds and the time reappears on
the display.
You can now use the built-in oven normal-
ly again.
Deactivating energy-saving mode
• First briefly tap the button
• Now hold the button

The ECO mode

ECO: For energy-efficient baking.
When ECO mode is activated, the heating
using the functi-
element is electronically controlled to make
better use of residual heat and therefore re-
duce energy consumption. Using ECO mode
will slightly extend the cooking time.

Tips for saving energy

• Preheat the oven only if it is called for in
