In order to switch

Sabbath mode

CAUTION
Risk of burns!
Power failures do not end Sabbath
mode. Once power is restored to the
oven, the oven will resume cooking. El-
ements, sides, baking trays, etc. get hot
during operation.
■ Keep small children away.
■ Avoid direct contact.
■ Only touch the oven door by the handle.
This function allows you to keep food warm
for 24–80 hours without needing to press any
buttons. The oven uses "top and bottom heat"
for this at 85 °C.
1. Switch the oven to stand-by by briefly tap-
ping the
sensor.
2. To switch to Sabbath mode, press the
sensor for 3 seconds.
The standard time of
the display.
3. Extend the cooking time using the control
dial < > in increments of 10 minutes.
After a short time, the time will be saved.
4. Start Sabbath mode by pressing the
sensor.

Operating the oven
Once the pre-set time has elapsed, you will
not hear any signal tones and the display
will not show '
'. The oven will switch

While in Sabbath mode
– All functions are blocked. You can only end
Sabbath mode early. To do this, briefly tap
the
sensor.
The oven switches to stand-by mode.
– All signal tones are deactivated.
– The oven light no longer lights up.
– The cooling fan does not switch on when
the oven door is opened.

Cooking compartment light

The lighting can be switched on or off at any
time: Press the
sensor.
Special features for some
heating methods
Pizza mode
For searing a roast, choose a high temper-
ature, then switch to a lower temperature. If
the cooking time takes longer than an hour
according to the recipe or based on your ex-
perience, keep cooking at 160 °C. You will
hear the fan working while it is in operation.
Top and bottom heat
– Fill the cake mixture only ⅔ of the way up
the baking tin; otherwise, it will overflow
and drip into the oven when baking.
– The best results for cakes are achieved
with dark ovenware.
