5.1.1 Disaerazione dell' impianto di
alimentazione
Prima di compiere l'operazione di disaerazione
autospurgante assicurarsi che la pompa
alimentazione possa erogare la massima quantità
di combustibile, azionandola mediante la leva
esterna, ad un primo tratto di corsa libera seguirà
un tratto di effettivo funzionamento della leva.
Se questo tratto risulta breve, occorre ruotare l'albero
motore di circa mezzo giro per liberare completamente
la pompa dal bocciolo di comando pompa posto
sull'albero a camme.
- Spurgare il filtro combustibile azionando a mano
la pompa alimentazione (1-FIG. 5.2) fino ad ottenere
un flusso continuo dalla vite di spurgo
precedentemente allentata (2-FIG. 5.2)

5.1.1 Purge du circuit d'alimentation

Avant d'effectuer l'opération de purge automatique,
assurez-vous que la pompe d'alimentation peut
distribuer la quantité maximum de combustible en
l'actionnant au moyen du levier externe: le premier
tronçon de course libre sera suivi d'un moment de
fonctionnement effectif du levier.
Si ce dernier s'avère court, tournez l'arbre moteur
d'environ un demi-tour pour libérer complètement la
pompe de la came de commande de la pompe située
sur l'arbre à cames.
- Purgez le filtre à combustible en actionnant à la
main la pompe d'alimentation (1-FIG. 5.2) jusqu'à
obtenir un flux continu par la vis de purge desserrée
au préalable (2-FIG. 5.2).

5.1.1 Bleeding air from the fuel supply system
Before bleeding air from the fuel circuit (single
bleed point) make sure that the fuel pump is able to
deliver the maximum fuel supply by operating it
using the external lever: an initial free stroke will
be followed by effective functioning of the lever.
If the functioning stroke is short, turn the crankshaft
about half a revolution to free the pump from the
pump control lobe on the camshaft.
- bleed air from the fuel filter by operating the fuel
pump manually (1- Fig.5.2) until you get a continuous
flow of flue from the previously loosened bleed
screw (2-Fig.5.2).
