Lighting
Important
The fi rst time the griddle is switched on, wash
the plate to remove the protective grease and
any dirt, then switch on the appliance and
preheat it for about 1 hour at the minimum
power setting.
Operate the appliance's master switch to con-

nect it to the electrical mains.
Turn the knob (A) clockwise, to the

temperature required (pos.1), to turn on the
heating elements. The lights (B) and (C) come
on; when the working temperature is reached,
light (C) goes out.
Turning off
Turn the knob (A) anti-clockwise (pos. 2) to

switch off the heating elements. The light (B)
goes out.
Turn off the appliance's circuit breaker to

disconnect it from the electrical mains.

comes on.
Turn the knob (E) to 1, between the mini-

mum and maximum temperature and wait
for the warm-up time before using the oven
(see table).
The temperature light (F) comes on to
indicate that the oven is not at the working
temperature.
The light goes out once the temperature is
reached.
