The SIMATRIX parameterization software V2.10 or later is required to incorporate the Control Unit
CKA4820 into the SIMATRIX video matrix system.
The control units must be activated using the VKS program VM_Pin.exe, and then set using the
SIMATRIX parameterization software.

In this operating mode, a video matrix is connected to the control unit interface
(COM1A). The telemetry devices to be controlled are connected to the TTY
interface of the video matrix (Fig. 27).
Each time a key is pressed, the telegrams are sent to the connected devices via
the control unit and telemetry interfaces. The settings must be correct on the
control unit.
The following menu settings are required:
Addressing (basic parameters/device address):
set control unit address (max. 10).
