Prior to installation of the cables, please observe the information in the respective Instruction Manuals
of the used peripheral devices.
Following routing of the cables, connect the components, program the desired
operating modes, and test all functions.
Cable for RS232 interface
At least 3-core cable, shielded
Max. permissible length: 10 m
Cable for TTY interface
At least 2-core cable, shielded
Max. permissible length: 1.2 km,
diameter: 0.8 mm
SCU30x, CDC040x, DCU600/850, CAC0101: 1.2 km (Max. field length varies
depending on the telemetry unit)
Cable for RS485 interface
RS485 cable, 2-core twisted
Max. permissible length: 1.2 km, diameter: 0.8 mm
