Operating parameters must be set on the Control Unit CKA4820 for certain
functions. Four DIP switches are used for this. To change the settings of the DIP
switches, you must first unscrew the left-hand plastic panel of the control unit.
Refer to the assembly instructions in chapter 10.1.
Changes to the DIP switches SW401 and SW301 become effective immediately.

1. DIP switch (SW1): no function - OFF position
2. DIP switch (SW2): no function - OFF position
3. DIP switch (SW301) for telemetry interface COM2 (Fig. 2, 4): serial interface
selection as TTY or RS485 interface; audible signal transmitter
4. DIP switch (SW401) for control unit interfaces COM1A (Fig. 2, 2) and COM1B
(Fig. 2, 3). Two states are possible:
serial interface selection as TTY interface at COM1B or as RS232 interface at
COM1A
