To prevent damage, and to achieve optimum reproduction of images, please read
and follow this Instruction Manual carefully.
The device supplied with this Instruction Manual complies with the EMC
requirements of the EU guideline 89/336/EEC.
This has been proven by testing according to the standards EN 50081-1/Oct. 92 for
emitted interference and EN 50130-4 for noise immunity. The safety requirements
according to the standard EN61010-1/A2 are also complied with.
The designations used for Siemens devices in this Manual, e.g. SCUxxx, always
refer to device families.
The letters "x" and "y" identify e.g. device versions or are used as dummy values
for expected inputs.
The following abbreviations are used for Siemens products:
SCU: Siemens camera control unit (old)
IVM: Interactive Video-Management
CDC: Siemens camera control unit (new)
CCDA: Siemens dome
DCU: dome camera control unit
OSD: on-screen display
