3. Installation

3.3 Replacing the thermometers

The thermometers are just pushed in and can be pulled out. It should
be noted that any thermometer that is removed should be replaced with a similar one.
Please observe the colour coding.
(Red lettering = SL (supply line); blue lettering = RL (return line))

3.4 Installing the thermal actuator

Install the actuator after properly flushing and filling the system and setting the
system pressure. To do this, slide the actuator onto
the valve block mounting and slide the retention clip backwards
if it does not engage automatically when sliding it (see fig.).
Moderate resistance has to be overcome when sliding on the actuator
as the return spring in the housing of the relay valve is compressed when
sliding on the actuator. The cable guide must point downwards. Push the retention
clip forwards to remove the actuator. To do this, press the two open
ends on the back of the retention clip forwards with your fingers .
The position of the relay valve is shown by the position indicator
through the transparent sight glass. The valve is closed if the position indicator is facing
left and the valve is fully open if the position indicator is facing right. A large flow
is already ensured in the intermediate position.

• Release the spring (pull apart)
