3. Installation

3.1 Wall-mounted installation

The system should be installed on a dry load-bearing wall.
Hazards as a result of adjacent masonry components, electrical cables or gas,
water or heating pipes must be avoided.
Free access to the station, safety valves and connection lines must be ensured.
1. Select the installation location
2. Mark the position of the hole on a load-bearing wall
3. Drill the hole (10 mm diameter) and knock in a rawl plug
4. Fasten the insulation to the wall with screws and washers
5. Insert the SolaVentec in the insulation and establish a connection to the
pipe network, ensuring that no voltage is being supplied

3.2 Shut-off valves

The solar station does not have a backflow preventer, but instead a thermal siphon and valve. The siphon also effectively prevents gravity
circulation without any further installations. The flow can therefore pass through the siphon at any time. The valve is opened and closed by
a thermal actuator. The actuator is triggered by the solar controller together with the recirculation pump.
Upper shut-off valve (valve block)
The valve block is opened when the thermal actuator is removed. Install the actuator
after properly commissioning the system and setting the system pressure. The valve is
closed after installing the actuator, thus preventing gravity circulation.
Lower shut-off valve
The lower shut-off is integrated in the small manifold, on which the diaphragm
expansion vessel connection and a fill and drain ball valve are also located.
The shut-off also works as a volumetric flow limiter in position 1 to 2 (see fig.).
The flow to the MAG connection is always open irrespective of the spindle position.
