4.4.4 Preassembling the horizontal rail pairs

pairs  (14R/14L) with the tail end  (16R/16L) by using
the screw (S15).

note that the screw heads (S6) are mounted towards
the inside to the rail!

cing it on the centre of the rail pairs (14R/14L) and by
turning it into position.

4.4.5 Mounting the horizontal rail pairs to the
frame

, Page A7. Connect the rail pairs  (14L/14R)
to the angle frame (1L/1R) by lightly screwing it to the
tail end  (16L/16R) with the angle frame  (1L/1R). It
should still be possible to fold up the system later on.
For adjusting, proceed as follows:

If the width stop exceeds 120 mm, insert the
screw (S5) through the addendum angle of the frame,
then through the rectangular-shaped hole in the tail
end (16R/16L). Lightly fasten it with the nut (S12).

If the width stop size is smaller: Should the
screw (S5) be pre-assembled, also see chapter: 4.4.2

Fold up the horizontal rail pairs (14R/14L) and secure
them against folding back.

screwing them to the angle frames and to the con-
necting plates  (18) by means of the screws  (S17  +

Potential obstruction at the transition
to the rails.
Make sure there is no offset in the
transition between the guide rails. If ne-
cessary, slightly adjust the arch ends.

Screw the tail end (16) with the screw (S11) to
the addendum angle.
Suspending the rail pairs  (14R/14L) at the rear can
be carried out in two assembly versions, depending
on the material conditions.
Procedure for wall mounting if internal width of the
garage is up to max. width of basic dimension  +
1030 mm for a central installation of the door:
Fig.
c
In a first step, prepare an anchor rail  (27),
measure the required length and shorten the anchor
rail  (27) accordingly. In doing so, note that ap-
prox.  200  mm have to be added to the required
measurement which will later remain in the rail con-
nector (6) and which provide for the required stability.
In a next step, mount a rail clip (29) to one end of the
anchor rail (27). While screwing it on, make sure the
rail clip is able to move freely. Then mount the con-
nection angle  (28) to the other end. Use the
screws  (S6  + S12) for assembly. On the side of the
wall mounting, completely slide the preassembled an-
chor rail (27) into the rail connector (6).

from the rail connector  (6) and screw the preas-
sembled anchor rail (27) to the garage wall by means
of the screws  (S8, S9). Only fasten the rail clip  (29)
lightly. It should still be possible to shift the anchor
rail (27) in order to align it diagonally afterwards.

garage exceeds width of basic dimension + 1030 mm
for a central installation of the door:

points for both sides. Both diagonals need to have
the same value to ensure a smooth door movement
with low friction. If required, also check the horizontal
alignment of the rail pairs by means of a spirit level.
Only then tighten the screws on the ceiling suspen-
sion.
