Always wear protective gloves when
working with the product and employ
only original parts . Always switch
the product off, disconnect it from
the mains and let the product cool
down before performing inspection,
maintenance and cleaning work!
˜ Adjusting the auxiliary
handle
(Fig . B)
NOTE
The product shall only be operated with
u
the auxiliary handle 6 fitted .
Disconnect the power plug 5 from the
¾
socket-outlet .
Loosen the auxiliary handle knob 7 .
¾
Move the auxiliary handle 6 forward/
¾
backward and left/right .
When you have set the optimal position,
¾
tighten the auxiliary handle knob 7 .
˜ Inserting/removing the chisel

Hold the product securely when inserting/
u
removing the chisel 12 13 .
The chisel 12 13 can become very hot
u
during operation . Allow the chisel to cool
down . Wear gloves when removing the
chisel .
Disconnect the power plug 5 from the
¾
socket-outlet .
Clean the chisel 12 13 (see "Cleaning") .
¾
Apply a thin layer of grease 14 to the part
¾
of the chisel 12 13 that is inserted into the
chisel holder 11 .
Place the product on a stable, flat surface .
¾
Inserting: Pull the locking collar 9 back
¾
with one hand . Insert the chisel 12 13 into
the chisel holder 11 . The chisel must click
audibly into place .
Removing: Pull the locking collar 9 back
¾
with one hand . Pull out the chisel 12 13 with
the other hand .

position

Hold the product securely when adjusting

the position of the flat chisel 12 .
The flat chisel 12 can become very hot

during operation . Allow the flat chisel to
cool down . Wear gloves when adjusting
the flat chisel position .
Disconnect the plug 5 from the socket-

outlet .
Place the product on a stable, flat surface .
¾
Push the adjustment collar 8 forward with
¾
one hand . Turn the adjustment collar to the
desired position .
Release the adjustment collar 8 to secure
¾
the flat chisel 12 in its position .
