Maintenance: Cleaning the sensor head

The measurement principle provides a large degree of
compensation for contamination of the sensor head. However,
contamination can become so severe, depending on the
operating conditions and media, that the compensation is
no longer adequate and the sensor head must be cleaned.
1. P lace the system or equipment in a safe state
(depressurized, empty, rinsed, vented or ventilated, etc.)
2. D isconnect electrical power
3. D ismount the sensor
4. C lean the sensor head using a soft, lint-free cloth and
a mild cleaning agent
5. R einstall the sensor

Disposal

It is the user's responsibility to dispose of the sensor in a
professional manner. Sensors contain electronic components
that require special disposal without any hazard for humans,
and with no risk of harm to the environment. Please observe
the applicable local or national regulations concerning the
disposal of "waste electrical and electronic equipment".

Warranty

On manufacturing defects, 12 months after delivery.

Storage conditions

Please inspect the instrument immediately after receiving
for any transport damage. The sensor should be stored in
a dry, clean and protected area until the time of installation.
If the sensor has been removed from the process, it should
be thoroughly cleaned and dried. It should be stored in a dry,
clean and protected area until time of installation.
