Operation

In case of any failure or malfunction, the equipment
in which the sensor is installed, needs to be in a safe
condition (depressurized, empty, rinse, vent, etc.).

Maintenance: Cleaning the sensor

In general, minor dirt or contaminant should not affect
the sensor reading. However, for good operating
practice, if fouling is presumed, the sensor is to be
removed and cleaned. Suitable cleaning solutions are
mild detergents or strongly diluted acids (<0.5% by
wt.) such as hydrochloric acid.
