Place the Respirator in Standby
Mode Press the Power button
once and the Green LED Battery
Lights will come on.
Don the respirator.
Place the respirator behind your
head, resting on your shoulders.
Note: The keypad on the
respirator must face up. Grasp
the left-hand mask AirClip in one
hand and the left-hand respirator
AirClip in the other. Connect and
Breathe to
click into place.
trigger the air flow.
With breathing, the CleanSpace
Respirator will start. When air
is flowing into the mask, join
the AirClips on the right-hand
side to close the system.
IMPORTANT: If the motor does
not start, check the system is in
Standby Mode (green lights
on). Take the respirator off,
press Power button to activate
Standby Mode and don again
as described.
NOTE! If you cannot connect the air clips on both sides because the respirator pulls up tight against the back of your
neck, swap to a neck support suited to a larger head size. See above. Then start the respirator donning process again.
With the Full Face Mask, The respirator can rest loosely or be carried
close to the neck. By adjusting the bellows on either side of the
respirator you can change the respirators position to suit your
requirements.
Jogging movements: it may be more comfortable for the unit to sit
snugly against the neck.
Looking up: Wear the respirator away from your neck.
Adjust both sides evenly.
To adjust the respirator, use the bellow/adjust system on the sides.
To tighten: Steady the mask and squeeze the respirator toward the
mask toward the back of the neck. You will hear clicking as the
adjust mechanism moves to the new position.
To loosen: Press the adjust buttons on each side and pull backwards
on the respirator to move it away from the back of the neck.
