US
■ Fill gravity flow cup (max. 20 mm below upper rim).
■ Insert anti-drip device.
■ Screw screw-on lid onto gravity flow cup.
Adjusting the material pressure
The material pressure can be read using the pressure gauge [1-8] and
variably adjusted with the regulator knob [1-10].
■ Pull control knob [1-10] away from paint spray gun until it audibly
releases.
■ Use the control knob to adjust the spray air volume and read the spray
jet pressure on the pressure gauge.
■ Push control knob towards paint spray gun until it audibly engages.
■ Turn ventilation valve [1-2] briefly and check if the pressure gauge
returns to the desired set pressure.
Adjusting the spray gun internal pressure
Information!
When adjusting the spray gun internal pressure using an external pres-
sure reducer, the air micrometer [# 53603] must be fully open (in vertical
position).
Information!
For the best accuracy, the spray gun internal pressure can be set using
the SATA adam 2.
Information!
If the required gun input pressure is not present, increase the pressure
in the compressed air circuit.
Excess input pressure will cause excess removal forces.
■ Pull trigger [1-12] all the way off.
■ Adjust according to one of the following adjustment options. Adhere to
the maximum gun input pressure (see 7).
■ Adjusting via SATA adam 2.
■ Adjusting via external pressure reducer.
■ Move the trigger to the start position.
