Operating Instructions SATA spray master RP
EN
■ Fill gravity flow cup (maximum 20 mm below top edge).
■ Insert drip-stop.
■ Screw the screw-on lid onto the gravity flow cup.
Adjust material pressure
The material pressure can be read off at the pressure gauge [1-8] with
subsequent fully various adjustment at the control knob [1-10].
■ Pull control knob [1-10] away from spray gun until it audibly releases.
■ Adjust spraying air quantity at the control knob and read off spray fan
pressure at the pressure gauge.
■ Press control knob towards spray gun until it audibly engages.
■ Open bleeder valve [1-2] briefly and check whether the pressure gauge
adjusts back to the required pressure again.
Adjust gun inner pressure
Notice!
When using an external pressure regulator to adjust the gun inner pres-
sure, the air micrometer [# 53603] must be wide open (vertical posi-
tion).
Notice!
The most precise way to adjust the gun inner pressure is with SATA
adam 2.
Notice!
If the gun input pressure does not reach the necessary level, increase
the pressure in the compressed air circuit.
Too much input pressure results in high trigger forces.
■ Pull trigger guard [1-12] right back.
■ Proceed with adjustment using one of the following possibilities. Note
the maximum gun inlet pressure (see chapter 7).
■ Adjustment with SATA adam 2.
■ Adjustment with external pressure regulator.
■ Bring the trigger guard to the starting position.
