wrong AC adapter terminates the warranty. VenTrade is generally not liable
for any damage caused by the use of AC adapters with the SECACAM Pro.
Note: A plugged-in power adapter (not supplied) can continue to draw power
even if the camera is in stand-by and therefore represents a hazard source.
Handling batteries: Always remove the batteries if the camera is not being
used and store the batteries separately. Inserting batteries of the wrong type
may cause explosions. Therefore, only use approved batteries type LR6 (AA)
1.5V or NiMH batteries with the same specification. Keep batteries out of
reach of children. Do not store or transport batteries in a way that they might
come in contact with metal objects. Batteries may not be thrown into the fire,
short circuited, over discharged, deformed or be taken apart. There is a sig-
nificant fire and explosion hazard. Don't touch batteries that have leaked with-
out appropriate protection. In case human skin gets in contact with battery
acid wash the area with soap and water immediately. Avoid eye contact with
battery acid. If you experienced eye contact with battery acid, rinse the eyes
with plenty of water and contact a doctor immediately. Dispose of batteries
according to national regulation.
LCD display: Make sure that the LCD display is not exposed to shocks or
pressure. The glass of the display might be damaged or liquid may leak. If the
liquid of a broken LCD display gets in contact with eyes or on the skin, it must
be rinsed with clean water immediately. If you experienced eye contact with
the liquid, rinse your eyes with plenty of water and contact a doctor imme-
diately. Damage to the electronics, the monitor or lens, which were caused
by external influences such as shock, drop, or otherwise, may terminate the
warranty.
Risks to children and people with limited abilities to use electronic de-
vices:
• The camera, accessories and packaging are not toys and should be
kept away from children. There is danger of electrocution, poisoning
and suffocation
• The camera may only be operated by people physically and mentally
able to operate it safely.
Danger of fire or electrocution: Switch off the camera and remove the bat-
teries if a foreign body or liquid has entered the camera. Let all parts of the
