3. Ready for use

3.2 Inserting the batteries

IMPORTANT: The camera must be turned off before inserting new batter-
ies! Please use either disposable or rechargeable batteries. To avoid dam-
age to the camera do not mix different types of batteries.
Battery Compartment: To open the battery compartment, open the camera
and press the EJECT button. Because there is a mechanism built in to ensure
that the battery compartment doesn't fall out, you will need to pull a little har-
der to entirely remove the compartment.
Please ensure that you correctly place the batteries with the matching polarity.
This is marked for you in the battery compartment. Push the compartment
back in until it is completely in the camera. You should hear a click...
