4. Operation

Formatting the memory card: Before its fi rst use, we recommend formatting
the memory card on your PC. To format the memory card in your camera,
activate the camera display by switching the ON/SETUP/OFF switch to SE-
TUP. Then press the PLAY button to enter the preview mode. After pressing
the MENU button, you will be given the options to 'Format' or 'Delete' photos.
Choose 'Format' and press the OK button.
4. Operation

4.1 Switch Settings

After you have equipped your SECACAM Pro with at least 4 batteries and a
memory card - as described in 3.2, the camera is basically ready and can be
operated with the factory settings.
I. Switch OFF/SETUP/ON: In the
ON position – the camera is on
and ready for use!
II. Switch OFF/SETUP/ON: In the
SETUP position - The camera
display is now on and you can
preview your photos, change
the camera settings and adjust
the camera capturing area.
III. Switch OFF/SETUP/ON: In the
OFF position, your camera is
turned off. In this position the
remote control for your camera
will also not work.
