Aufstellen und
Bedienungshinweise
Pumpe:
Ein- und Ausschalten der Pumpe:
Die interne Pumpe für Insufflation (Einblasen von
Luft) und/oder Spülung wird durch die Taste
ein- und ausgeschaltet. Der Status der Pumpe
(an/aus) wird durch die Status-LED angezeigt.
Einstellen der Pumpengeschwindigkeit (Fluss):
Die Pumpengeschwindigkeit entspricht in erster Linie dem
Fluss. Es hängt von den Systemwiderständen (Instrument,
Schläuche und Verbindungen) und den einbezogenen
Volumina (Wasserflasche, Magen) und Verlusten durch
eventuelle Lecks ab, wie die Pumpengeschwindigkeit mit
dem Druck korreliert. Die Pumpengeschwindigkeit kann in
drei Stufen eingestellt werden: Die Stufen 1 und 2 sind für
den normalen Gebrauch. Stufe 3 wird für starke Linsen -
verschmutzung und andere schwierige Bedingungen ver-
wendet.
Die Einstellung der Pumpe wird über die + Taste
- Taste
vorgenommen. Im Gegensatz zur Einstel lung der
Lichtintensität gibt es hier keine automatische Wiederho -
lungs funktion durch Festhalten der Tasten. Die Pumpen -
geschwindigkeit lässt sich auch bei ausgeschalteter Pumpe
einstellen. Die aktuelle Geschwindigkeitsein stel lung wird
durch die Bandanzeige . dargestellt. Beim Einschalten ist
die Geschwin dig keitseinstellung 2 aktiv.
Warnung: Zur Vermeidung von Embolien
sollte die Pumpenstufe 3 nur kurzfristig be-
nutzt werden (bei Linsenverschmutzung
oder schwierigen Bedingungen).
Hinweis: Die Insufflationspumpe kann für die Luft -
insufflation oder die Wasserspülung verwendet
werden. Dies hängt im Einzelnen vom verwendeten
Videoendoskop ab. Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchs -
anweisung des Videoendoskops sorgfältig durch.
Der folgende Text wurde beispielhaft aus der
KARL STORZ Gebrauchs anweisung für das
Gastroskop entnommen:
„Wasserzufuhr und/oder Linsenreinigung wird durch
Drücken des Luft-/ Wasserventils am Videoendos -
kop aktiviert. Durch verschiedene Ventilstellungen er-
geben sich Kombinationsmöglichkeiten."
WICHTIG: Nur zu 2/3 gefüllte Wasserflaschen verwen-
den (1/3 wird für das Luftdruckpolster benötigt).

Pump:
Turning the pump on/off:
The internal pump for insufflation and/or irrigation
is turned on/off by button
. The pump's
operating status is indicated by the button's LED
status.
Adjusting the pump speed (flow):
The pump speed corresponds first and foremost to the
flow. Its correlation with the pressure depends on the sys-
tem-resistances (instrument, hoses and connectors) and
the involved volumes (water-bottle, stomach) and losses
via leaks. Flow of irrigation in turn depends on the pres-
sure. Three levels of pump speed can be selected. Stages
1 and 2 are for normal use, stage 3 is for 'difficult' condi-
tions and severe lens soiling.
Adjustment is performed using the + button
ton
. In contrast to the luminous intensity adjustment, an
autorepeat function is not implemented by pressing the
und die
button. The pump speed can also be preselected when
the pump is off. The current speed setting is displayed on
the strip display . Switching the power on resets the
speed to level 2.
Warning: In order to avoid embolisms,
pump level 3 should only be used for short
periods of time (i.e., in case of difficult lens
soiling).
Note: The insufflation pump can be used for air
insufflation or water irrigation. Details depend on
the videoscope in use. Please read the instruc-
tion manual for the videoscope carefully.
The following text has been taken as an example
from the KARL STORZ instruction manual for the
gastroscope:
'Water supply and/or lens cleaning are activated
by pressing the air/water valve on the video-
scope. The various valve positions mean there
are different possible combinations.'
IMPORTANT: Only use water bottles that are 2/3
full ( 1/3 of the volume is required as a reservoir
for the compressed air ).

Ajuste de la velocidad de la bomba (flujo):
La velocidad de la bomba se corresponde en primer lu-
gar con el flujo. La correlación de la velocidad de la bom-
ba con la presión depende de las resistencias del sistema
(instrumento, tubos flexibles y conexiones), de los volúme-
nes integrados (botella de agua, estómago) y de las pér-
didas debidas a posibles fugas. La velocidad de la bom-
ba puede ajustarse en tres niveles: Los niveles 1 y 2 son
para uso normal. El nivel 3 se utiliza en caso de fuerte su-

ciedad de las lentes y otras condiciones difíciles.
El ajuste de la bomba se lleva a cabo mediante la tecla +
y la tecla - . Contrariamente a lo que ocurre con el
ajuste de la intensidad lumínica, en este caso no existe nin-
guna función de repetición automática por mantener presio-
nadas las teclas. La velocidad de la bomba también puede
ajustarse estando la bomba desconectada. El ajuste actual
aparece representado por el indicador de franjas . Al mo-
mento de la conexión, el ajuste de velocidad activado es 2.
Cuidado: Con el fin de evitar la formación de
embolias, el nivel 3 de la bomba sólo debe
utilizarse brevemente (en caso de fuerte su-
ciedad de las lentes o condiciones difíciles).
Nota: La bomba de insuflación, según el videoen-
doscopio empleado, se puede utilizar para la insu-
flación de aire o la irrigación con agua. Le rogamos
tener en cuenta el Manual de instrucciones del vi-
deoendoscopio que se va a utilizar.
El texto siguiente se ha tomado a modo de ejemplo
del Manual de instrucciones de KARL STORZ para
el gastroscopio: "El ingreso de agua y/o la limpieza
de las lentes se lleva a cabo presionando la válvula
de aire/agua en el video endoscopio. Mediante las di-
ferentes posiciones de la válvula se obtienen diversas
posibilidades de combinación."
IMPORTANTE: Utilice únicamente botellas de agua
llenas en 2/3 (1/3 se necesita para el cojín de presión
de aire).
