The alternating load frequency should not exceed 5 Hz when using knuckle
eyes.
Installation of knuckle eyes
• Screw the knuckle eye into the transducer or adapter as far as the retainer.
• Unscrew the knuckle eye two revolutions.

5.5 Assembly with adapter

If you use the force transducer version without adapter, it is screwed onto an
existing structural element with the outer pitch, see Fig 5.2. The other side of
the force application is implemented via the central thread of the U10M/U10S.
Please read Chapter 5.3 or Chapter 5.4 if a knuckle eye is used.
With this method of installation, transducers can measure axial forces in both
tensile and pressure directions. Alternating loads are also correctly recorded if
the transducer is mounted without axial play. The transducer can be used
without restrictions with the full vibration bandwidth.
