Caution!
When mounting the Recaro® seat, ensure that the seat receiver is securely attached to the retainer
bushings and that the anterior locking bolts have snapped into place up to the key ring.

14.8 Pelvic belt

(B 500/B 500-S)
The B 500/B 500-S can be equipped with a pelvic belt. The pelvic belt serves exclusively as a safety belt when
driving the power wheelchair. Under no circumstances should the pelvic belt be used as a safety belt during
transportation in a motor vehicle.

14.9 Mechanical seat tilt

The standard or contoured seat can be tilted backwards with continuous adjustment up to 20° (Fig. 28).

To tilt the seat backwards, use the release lever as illustrated above. Pressing the release lever unblocks the
gas compression spring. The seat can then be tilted to the desired inclination. Letting go of the release lever will
again block the gas compression spring. To facilitate the task, fold the back to the rear before beginning to tilt.
Caution!
A tilted seat has a different tip stability. Driving up inclines therefore requires additional attention!
We recommend bringing the seat in a level position before getting into or out out the wheelchair.
Danger!
Operating the release lever once the seat is tilted can lower the seat abruptly.
