Voltage Measurement AC/DC

Important!
Do not undertake voltage measurements if potential to earth
is higher than 250 V DC resp. AC. There is high risk of injury
for human and risk of equipment damage.
1. Set the rotary switch (4) to the position required for AC and DC
measurements (V
2. Connect the red test lead to the V/Ω/
test lead to the COM input (7).
3. Hold the probe tips against the circuit or component you intend
to test - for DC, if possible, with proper polarity (red to plus and
black to minus).
4. Now you can read the result from the LCD display. If the result
is negative, the minus symbol appears left to the displayed
value.
Notes:
If the unit shows the overflow "i" indicator, immediately remove
the probe tips from the object to be measured, after turning it
off, if possible.
When the test leads are connected to the unit in idle state (i.e.
without being connected to a device to be measured), a fluctu-
ating value may be displayed on the LCD due to the high sen-
sitivity of the device. When a measurement is performed how-
ever, the displayed value corresponds exactly to the specified
accuracy of the unit.
The unit has an input impedance of 10 MΩ in all voltage
measuring modes.
