6. DC Voltage Measurements

To avoid harms to you or damages to the multimeter from electric
shock, do not attempt to measure voltages higher than 250 V
or 250 V~ although readings may be obtained!
If the measured value exceeds the range limit of the set measur-
ing range, the icon "i" appears on the display. In this case,
immediately remove the measuring leads from the device under
test and, if possible, select a higher measuring range.
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack (5) and the red
test lead to the VΩmA
2. Set the rotary function/rang switch (2) to the desired DC
voltage range 200 mV
respectively 250 V

and then reduce the range step by step until satisfactory
results are obtained.
3. Connect the test leads across the device under test.
4. The measured value is shown on the display.
When measuring a negative voltage, the negative sign ap-
pears left to the reading.

7. AC Voltage Measurements
