View the Ribbon Status (Macintosh)

The Status tab of the Everest Utility window for Macintosh allows you to view the estimated percentage and number of prints
remaining on the print and retransfer ribbons.
1. Access the Everest Utility.
a. Select: System Preferences > Print & Fax. The Print & Fax window opens.
b. In the printer list, double click the model number of your Everest.
•
For Everest 600, select CDPR23.
•
For Everest III, select CDPR22.
The CDPR23 or CDPR22 window displays.
2. From the toolbar, select Utility. The Everest Utility opens.
3. Select the Status tab.
4. View the ribbon information:
•
Estimated percentage and number of prints remaining on the print and retransfer ribbons.
•
Current printer status.

Note: If you remove a ribbon from the Everest printer and reinsert it, the system recognizes the amount of ribbon
remaining in the consumable monitoring application. Partially used ribbons from other Everest printers will not
display accurately in the consumable monitoring application.
5. Reset the estimate for the number of prints remaining on the retransfer ribbon.
a. Select Option... The Reset retransfer prints remaining window displays.
b. If you are using a 500-print ribbon, check the Use 500 print retransfer ribbon box.
c. Select Reset prints. A confirmation window displays.
d. Select OK to confirm the reset. The confirmation window and the Reset retransfer prints remaining window close.
6. Select Quit to close the Everest Utility window.
